Herbs for Health

What is Herbs for Health?

Herbs for Health is a non-accredited course funded by Middlesbrough Community Learning’s ‘Learning for Inclusion’ grant funding, awarded by the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA), as part of the devolved Adult Education Budget (AEB).

Herbs for Health helps Middlesbrough-based residents to build the skills and confidence to identify, forage and grow herbs and weeds to harvest and make healthy and sustainable products from the plants that grow abundantly around them. Herbs for Health aims to inspire and motivate local people to access outdoor spaces more frequently and become more interested in their local environment.

Who does it help?

Herbs for Health is open to Middlesbrough based residents aged 19+.
